Lake Sapanca
Lakeside walks, cafés and a broad natural panorama make this a rewarding stop between training days.

From the waterside atmosphere of Sapanca to forest paths and the character of Taraklı, Sakarya invites you to slow down between active days. Pair a focused camp with fresh air, regional food and a landscape that encourages discovery.
Plan a journey here ↗Sakarya’s landscape carries the legacy of ancient Bithynia and the Roman and Byzantine worlds. The Justinian Bridge is a striking surviving reminder of that past. Ottoman-era town life remains visible around Adapazarı’s Uzun Çarşı and in the streets of Taraklı. These places give the province a cultural route that reaches well beyond its modern sporting identity.
Wooden houses and traditional crafts give Taraklı its distinctive character. In Adapazarı, the bazaar and local table reveal a region shaped by different communities: Balkan and Caucasian influences sit alongside Anatolian traditions. Lake Sapanca, highland villages and the Black Sea coast add contrasting experiences to the same journey.
